GitLab Merge Request

On the Git Cheatsheet “Submit changes for review” it says: You need to click on Request Access on the Details screen of the top-level RiscOS Group. I think the top-level RiscOS Group refers to the page https://gitlab.riscosopen.org/RiscOS. I am signed in, and have managed to find Request Access somewhere months ago … but can someone remind me exactly where I can request access to a sub-project? |

I think you have to email them and ask. I spent ages looking for such a button too! |

T’is there: If you don’t see it, and instead you see ‘Leave group’ then you’re already a member as Martin appears to be since 19th December 2022. |

Ahah! It does indeed say ‘Leave Group’. In my defence, it does say “if you have never submitted a merge request to a given component” you need to request access – and I took component to refer to sub-project, not the whole of RISC OS. So that is not the reason why I cannot assign a merge request to ROOL. I must have missed something else! |

Now resolved – Sprow pointed out I had the wrong target. |
