Is there not a complication here – Do SDFS, SCSIFS, FAT32fs and DOSFS actually set the OPT flag? I thought that they were just ‘hardwired’ to present OPT 4,2 so that you could boot from them? |

Anyway, now the breadcrumb trail to sign up is there JW can join in. I see that someone else as well as Steve has already mentioned the OPT 4,2 to reset booting. I was able to check this setting by going to the command line and typing a ‘.’ at the star prompt. This is an alias for ‘cat’ set early in the system variables Doing this stuff in a task window (^F12) allows you to scroll about and save the results, though you can use the Shift and Control keys to exercise some control over the whizzy standard F12 listing. Just another thing to have a look at! |
