Formatting error USB key 16GB

Hello
I am unable to format (using !HForm) an 16gb (14787 Mbytes) usb key. It always ends with a “Program Error 3”.
I am using the values proposed by default by !HForm:

• 57463 Cylinders
• 17 heads
• 31 sectors/track
• Large file allocation unit: 2048.

Note that, I succesfully formated a 8GB usb key.

Not sure what your problem is…
Have you use the I or F option? F for Format is better for a old used drive, I think (know). Most problems I have with old NTFS or ext formated devices.
Often it helps you write zeros with Linux dd or CloneDisc or WinSDformater… to drive.

It has been stated many times by very knowledgeable people F does nothing of use!
Selecting LBA mode is the current recommendation.
