Mouse graphics bug

In a recent release of the RISCOS software, there’s a bug which leaves dead pixels or dead blocks of pixels on the screen when the mouse is clicked. I got an immediate response to my inquiry about this – thanks Ben – which included a program to fix the bug. My problem is: How can I get this program into the Pi? I’ve copied it from the email onto the SD card but it’s still in the Windows filing system which RISCOS doesn’t seem able to access. Can anyone help please? |

Mmmm current NOOBS downloads has an old ROM version that suffers from your symptoms. n.b. If it was a zip file. DO NOT unzip it on Windows. Copy it to the Pi and unzip it within RISC OS. Rereading your post makes me think you may have on a PC copied the file into the FAT partition. |

I seem to remember that after some of the alpha-blending support sprite code was checked in you get corrupted blocks (window furniture and rainbow patterns rather than the non-hardware pointer mouse trails) until you updated your boot sequence to match so might be that if you’ve not pulled a recent HardDisc4 down. |
