Nasty bug in Printers 1.81... 1.83

RO 5.20 and 5.21
During the course of installing and configuring a PS driver LasJet4-PS (Shows as Laserjet 4M) a bug has risen to the surface.

The reason I call it Nasty… If this happens, you either have to remove the PS driver and the Setting file, then reinstall it, or if you are capable, Edit the Settings file to correct the write failure.

Specifically:
In the Postscript printer configuration window (Shift + Select click), if the Feed is selected as “Default printer settings” Thereafter, no other Feed Print settings selections are possible, because the setting is not written correctly to the …Boot.Choices.Printers.Setting file.

It is written as:
nl: With no entry, which is normal, but once set cannot be changed.

Whereas when corrected (Either by reinstalling or a manual edit) it reads:

st: Printers:ps.Feeds.HP.2_Single_Auto

Or any of the other Feeds available in the menu.

Before I think about committing this to a Bug report in the appropriate place, I just wondered if anyone else had noticed/experienced this problem.

I have attempted to reproduce this in Printers 1.91a (Printers+) on RO 6.20 without managing to do it, so it does seem to be ROOL Printer thing.

To conclude:
I’ve had another bash at Printers + on RO 6.20 again, and cannot get it to bug out, so it really does seem to be the 1.8nn printers problem.

Are there any other versions of Printers available that’ll work with ROOL RISC OS?
