EtherUSB/Ethernet over USB diff?

Network configuration has 2 interface options, USB EtherUSB & USB 0 Ethernet over USB. I have EtherUSB selected and configured and that works OK. If I temporarily select Ethernet over USB the same content is shown in ‘Status’.

So I’m just wondering what the difference is.

You recently upgrade your ROM or HardDisc image? When you do that, you sometimes need to erase the network config too.

I’m not having a problem. Just curious about the options.

Yes, I did not too. But after an upgrade, I did have two Ethernet cards. A reset of the network parameters solved the problem.
