It looks like the Pi gets stressy at 85C; so what we need is a tweak or two to the Wimp to have the option to hammer on the accelerator, and ease off if we stray over 70C (though I’d prefer an option to be able to change that to 60C). For comparison, playing HD video via RaspBMC (at 800MHz CPU) took the Pi to 51C in August – http://www.heyrick.co.uk/blog/index.php?diary=20130815 so there should be some room for upping the clock speed nicely. |

Dynamic overclocking makes this, and permits also to overvolt the Pi. |
