GSM900 Module

Has anybody had a GSM900 SIM card module working with a Raspberry Pi running RISCOS?

Not really, I mean. With the USB Modem module it shouldt possible with !ComCentre (you can find in !Store), with the shield, I think it is not possible at this time.
I use a normal USB Surfstick and !ComCentre (Screenshot if you like.).

Yes, I have been thinking it would be much easier to use a USB Modem. (But, not tried it yet)

For a good support of USB modems, we would need ROOL/Castle to provide an ARMv7 version of the PPP module.
Would be cool (32bit versions of Replay and PCem would be too).

I have take a question about ppp to Steve in 05/2011. The last info was this:

I am not aware of any PPP module sources having been published. We can look
in the closed-source components but releasing those sources to you would
require an investigation as to their ownership, etc. first.

So I use the old ppp-module with “ae off”.

Or ask, ask and ask again for an ARMv7 version of these old components :)
