Well, not if your mistake is to click on “Post Topic” without filling in the ‘Title’ field, since the board throws away your entire post just to tell you off. :(

Swap notes with Rick Murray (and many others); dumping your wit, wisdom etc is a routine occurrence.
I tend to write long items in a text editor and then paste into the forum.

Well, no. Not quite. The “Beast” (incredibly aptly named forum software) has quite the habit of throwing away posts. In your case, you dared to forget the title. At least you have a reason. Sometimes the forum just “does that”, I swear it gets moody and has periods when it doesn’t like me.

And, of course, now I’ve said this, it will take offence and wait until there’s a big long post that I forgot to ^A ^C (it knows, I don’t know how it knows but it knows) and pfffft! Vanishment this world! (or something somewhat less exciting)
