Zap and Pi2

Can anybody confirm that Zap has problems with the Raspberry Pi 2 please. In my version running a program from within Zap by pressing either the Run and Quit or Save and Run buttons seems to hang up Zap. Saving from the Menu works.

On my Pi 2, Zap seems to have a problem with bitmapped fonts. It will open a file with the basic system font which looks awful. When I try to select the bitmap fonts sub-menu it crashes. It loads files and saves them okay and seems ok with the other fonts.

I have !Zap 1.48 (13-Sep-2011) – the latest version available from !Store – running on my Pi 2 and do not encounter these problems. It does not have the ‘Run’ etc. buttons though, like the version 1.44 (30-Aug-2002) I have on my VRPC.

Chris, that may just be your settings.
Try Menu→Display and select Buttons (so the tick shows).

I think version 1.48 is the OMAP version done by Tank – http://www.tankstage.co.uk/Software/ if you don’t want to use PlingStore.

edit: I should have given the version. On the Raspberry Pi 2 that was 1.48 (16 Sep 2011) tnk-7. (1.47 (20 Aug 2005) [TEST] is OK on the Iyonix.)

I use StrongED. Oops, sorry, did I say that out loud.

I’ve just did a fresh install of Zap 1.48 (13 September 2011) tnk-7. It is now working fine. :)
