Machine startup has not completed successfully:

My RiscOs Pi had been working quite succesfully on a Pi2 but all of a sudden and for no obvious reason started to fault on Boot with the message:

Escape sends you to a Desktop without the Pi backdrop and apps won’t run.

I have not made any significant hardwar or software change recently.

I have RiscOs Pi on a 2Gb MicroSD bought from the Store
