Where would I find these modules? Documentation, even here at ROOL, points to https://www.riscosopen.org/content/downloads/module-zipfiles but this redirects to the misc downloads, of which nothing seems appropriate (just looked in the Harddisc4 archive). |

I think they were victims of the tidy up. You have to go wayback |

Rick, Is this any use? I will have it deleted in 24 Hours.
The only ‘URL’ software I have is LaunchURL. Is that any use? |

Thanks John – but do you also have the URL module? AcornHTTP won’t start without it. Steve – Wayback says “bummer” followed by an excuse about how the machine that serves that file is down. Hmm. |

Yeah, I noticed that this evening – didn’t check things all the way through the other day. |

Right. Specifically here The Browse and Phoenix stuff is in there too if you search around big thank you to Beast and BT combo for dumping my first attempt at posting into digital oblivion. This one compiled off line and pasted in. Yah, boo, sucks to Beast. |

Did the server reboot or something? I just wrote a message not so long ago, this window said “account” at the top right, and it threw away my reply with a “you must log in you slimy little b…ard” message. In pink. Anyway – I know where the source is. I am looking for a compiled module. Unfortunately I never got joy from CVS, so it looks as if my options are either a lot of fiddling in the browser to download each file one by one. Or a 92MiB download. That’s a bit overkill for a couple of modules, don’tcha think? ;-) |

Ah, you too. I thought it was a BT dropout and the Beast habit of silently disconnecting and negating the security cookie when a disconnect occurs.
I did think it was peculiar.
It’s not like you’re on a crappy Orange ISP link ;-) |

Rick, if you still need the URL module I’ve got version 0.56 (07 Oct 2008) here. It’s along side AcornHTTP so I assume it’s the one you’re after. Let me know and I’ll send you a copy. |

Rick, The only URL module I have is ‘LaunchURL’ and I am not sure that is the one you want. But it sounds like you have a copy coming from Fred. |
