How do I change NetSurf theme?

There are few themes available on NetSurf’s website. I’ve tried to download and install them on 3.3 (afaik it’s supposed to do it automatically, just like modern browsers do) but it just didn’t happen. Themes download just like any ordinary files do, OS doesn’t know how to open them and dragging ‘em either on the NetSurf’s window or theme Choices window doesn’t add it too… afaics it’s not documented on browser’s website. |

Without actually checking, I suspect that there’s a good chance that NetSurf’s theme loader could have been broken at some point – it’s not something I’ve ever really looked at or tested. Beyond the default one, a lot of themes are missing bits of the current GUI and so might not look too good even if you did manage to get them to install. Since it’s only the RISC OS front-end that knows of themes, the core doesn’t support them in the bits of GUI that it implements, and so they’re becoming a bit irrelevant anyway. |
