screen lock - is it possible?

Is there any RISC OS 5 compatible app to lock the screen on demand? I often leave my computer unattended and I’d like to password lock it.

Not that I know of but off the top of my head you might try the following basic program:

CLS
ON ERROR PRINT
REPEAT 
INPUT LINE "Input Password: "; A$
UNTIL A$ = "colin"

Won’t survive a reset but may do what you want.

Change CLS to “MODE MODE” if you want to blank the screen

the ‘ON ERROR PRINT’ line stops escape being used.

Thank you, it works correctly as a screen lock (yet it’s probably worst screen saver available – supplied modes either don’t start or just leave me with blank but not off screen on RPi B+).
