EasiWriter Page Sizes

Not sure if this is the right place for this, I purchased EasiWriter and I think the page size is set to A4 by default? I figured out how to make a stationary document, if I set the paper size to 8.5×11 inches will that suffice to make the working page “Letter” ? I tried looking in the tutorials, and came up with the stationary idea.

You’d probably get more detailed answers if you ask on the TW email list. But a point to note is that ‘stationary’ files are simply ordinary TW files you’ve decided to use as ‘stationary’. You then give them the name you want and put them where TW will look for stationary.

For A4 you need 8.26″ × 11.69″ or 210mm x 297mm, but I think paper sizes are set elsewhere. Yes, A4 seems to be the default paper size for EasiWriter. Just checked, paper sizes are set in
Misc —> Print options.
Press mouse middle button while document window has input focus to get this menu.
The default place for any stationery files you create (i.e., ‘templates’) is in the directory $.EasiRes.EasiPads .
If you have TechWriter (EasiWriter + Mathematical stuff), there is an extra subdirectory, TechPads, for ‘templates’ for technical documents.
