Disc error 08

Does anyone know what “Disc error 08” specifically means, other than doom and gloom that is.

Drive not ready. Not doom and gloom. Does the machine on which you are experiencing this error happen to be Titanium?

If so, this thread is relevant. Also you should not get any data corruption and the problem can be overcome with a RMReinit ADFS.
