I’ve recreated your files/directories here and can’t repeat the problem. Would you do a test for me. Could you try a Find on the filer menu for file ‘*’ – just the wildcard – on the ‘[2007-09-19] Tenshi no Revolver’ directory. If you keep pressing ‘continue’ do you still get 38 files? If so can you work out which file is missing.

It’s one of those tenshinorevolver_xxx/jpg files unfortunately Find on the RISC PC truncates the names so I don’t now which one. I will retest it once I have received the PI3 I’ve just ordered.

Speaking of these such tests I made Filer vs command line count tests not for LanManFS but for HostFS on RPCEmu. There are a few surprises:
- the RISC OS 6 instance gives the same file count in both cases but the command line visibly uses a 32-bit total bytes counter.
- the RISC OS 5.22 instance gives a command line count which is largely inferior to the Filer count. Counting from the windows side gives the same results as the Filer count.

A command line counts is different to a filer count as the command line count doesn’t count directories recursively.

Edit: Oh yes it does. I get the same count from command line and filer – there’s a novelty.

The new version gives the correct count.
