NetSurf bugs?

Go to the recently linked release notes and you’ll see a PayPal button about a screenful down (oddly marked “Download”?). Adjust-clicking this opens a new window and throws the error “NetSurf is running out of memory. Please free some memory and try again.” I have about 170MiB free… Start NetSurf (first time) in a 16M colour mode. Switch to 256 colours (I did, to test vncserver) and NetSurf will immediately crash. Reloading NetSurf is no good, it’ll crash the moment it needs to draw some text (so I’m guessing something is retained in one of the support modules?). Switch back to 16M colours, NetSurf works again. Happens with NetSurf 3.2 and 3.5. Just me?

Apr 21, 2016 11:24pm Greg (2474) 144 posts	Hi Rick Just tested what you said the PayPal/Download button does exactly as you said but the changing from 16 million colours to 256 works fine here. Running Netsurf 3.4
