Otter Browser

With ref to the Otter Browser – what Hardware or Emulator is required? ie what ARM chip.

The received wisdom seems to be that to run at a reasonable speed a Cortex-A15 systems like our RapidO Ig (IGEPv5) or RapidO Ti (Titanium)

If you’re prepared to exercise a little patience you’ll find Otter quite useable on a Pi2, especially if it’s running a recent (hi-vector) OS version. Of course a Titanium/IGEP system will give a better experience (and at 20x the cost, so they should….!).

FYI – It’s quite usable on an iMX6.
I think it depends what you want to view, in the case of the heavier javascript pages (google maps etc.) the more “umphh” the better.
