How to concatenate files

There’s a way to concatenate files at the command line, isn’t there? I’m sure I’ve done it, but I can’t remember how to, and my attempts to look it up have drawn a blank. I’d appreciate some help. Tia.

I read about that in the ArcEm manual on how to concatenate the four RO ROM files to one file:

*print ROM1 { > ROM }
*print ROM2 { >> ROM }
*print ROM3 { >> ROM }
*print ROM4 { >> ROM }
