Fireworkz Mailing List

Anyone tried the Fireworkz mailing list recently?

I tried sending them an email and it was bounced back…

Had me worried there for a bit.

It is likely that you need to join the group before receiving permission to post by email.

Ah OK—it would seem that I cannot join the group using NetSurf (page doesn’t load) so will have to wait until I’m next near another browser.

Bit disappointing – I thought that the Google Groups did work a little with NetSurf but the goalposts have obviously moved…

NetSurf could definitely do with a bit of a boost really—its a wonderful program (small, fast, efficient, incredibly widely supported) but would love it if worked a bit better with the modern web.

Maybe if the improved TCP/IP stack bounty gets claimed there will be more interest in helping out with an updated version?

Stuart: I just opened the mailing list on Opera on Windows and can see the content of it but how do I register so I can send questions?

The required info does seem to be currently missing.

This should do it, that is it did when I joined five years ago.

Send an email to colton-software-fireworkz+subscribe@googlegroups.com with subject “subscribe”.
