Saving groups out of Messenger

Can anybody remind me how to save a group of sent emails as a text file out of Messenger? I vaguely remember having done this in the past, simply to clear out the dropsical NewsDir, but I cannot see any options to save in Messenger’s menus or anything in the stronghelp documentation.

Open the sent folder
Select the one’s you want to save
Menu button Selection Save

You can also highlight them (remember that ctrl-drag allows rubber-band box drawing) and simply drag-to-disc. I believe this results in an “mbox” format save, which can be reloaded by double-clicking and stepped through just like ordinary messages.

If you need to save a whole folder, it can be done by Choices→Group Management. Press menu over the folder/group and go choose Export (might be Save).
