Games working on Pi1 but not on Pi2?

Hi there,

I have found ZIP2000 (Infocom interpreter) works fine on my Pi1 machine, but it doesn’t work on Pi2/3. Same with NetHack…
Are there Pi2/3 compatible versions of these? THey are games I really like.

I can’t find a website for Kevin Bracey, however the Zip2000 sources are around (Google it). I would imagine just rebuilding with more up to date tools would suffice, could be something as simple as a use of unaligned loads (the Iyonix era one did this a lot!).

Chris Gransden seems to have recompiled Zip2000 for ARMv7 (so should work at least with RPi 2 original version): http://www.riscosports.co.uk/zip2000.zip

@Rick: being different SDKs on Risc OS, building something is very hard, so I clearly prefer binaries….

Any idea if a Nethack/Rogue compatible version exists too? What about !Magnetic, the Magnetic Scrolls interpreter? Is there an ArmV7 version somewhere?

Ahh! It seems that Jeffrey Lee is the builder of the Risc OS Nethack version I was using, and he is around here. Here’s where I got my Nethack:
