I feel like I’m asking a mathematician about arithmetic because I’m pretty clueless here. Do they check the user agent string? Like were you previously having to spoof FF or Chrome to get Manga to work? They are probably just protecting their data throughput rather than the actual content. |

You already know it’s a quirk of the download, the question is what is the full sequence of connections used in the download? |

I think it might have something to do with the order of cookies and fetches. It’s more complex than the previous setup. I had been using Firefox’s network inspection tool to trace what’s going on. Can’t WireShark it, it’s https. Plus WireShark gives boatloads of information, can’t see the woods for the trees. Fiddler – Annoying! “Fiddler Classic does not Support Your OS” |

Dunno, I first used a version of it on win7, and using anything less than win10 & latest patches1 will get your nuts in the grinder at work. Never had a use for it at home. 1 That said, the latest sometimes-breaks-SSL patch is not applied anywhere at the moment on a “we don’t roll that way” response to the MS “apply the patch and if it breaks things then apply this special patch that we haven’t put on general release…” |
