Using NFS 0.71 some filetypes are lost, htm, zip, jpg etc. when connected to the iMac’s NFS server and Moonfish on the RPi3. A comma separated RISC OS filetype number suffix is respected. |

I’ve done a fresh install of OS 5.24 on my Pi (I figured that it’d be a good opportunity to clean up some of the cruft) and I can’t remember how to set Omni up properly :) On my previous build I had Omni starting at boot and automatically mounting my NFS share. On the new one I’ve done a “Save mounts” and have added an OmniMount line to the Startup file, but when I start Omni it pops up the “Mount NFS server” window (with the details pre-filled) and I need to manually click on Connect. How can I bypass this? I know I must be missing something simple, because after all I’ve done it before! Edit: Typical; I managed to figure it out within ten minutes of posting. In Choices.Omni.Mounts I had to add my server name to the end of the file. In other words, instead of this:
I had to change to this:
Interestingly the Mounts file from my previous install doesn’t have the server name in the Authentication field, but it seems to need it in 5.24’s version. I don’t know which version of Omni I was previously running, although it’s a bit moot now since it’s solved. |
