Weave running in Raspbian

I have Weave running in Raspbian – only a small change: OBEY$DIR has become OBEYDIR. Clicking a *wve file produces the *html file. What I have not yet discovered is how to make the openbox-lxde GUI produce pretty icons for *lua and *wve files. I have googled here and there about mimetypes and file-associations etc, but the answers seem all to be for Linux distributions other than Raspbian. I have a question put up in the beginners section of the Raspberry pi forum but if anybody here knows the answer please tell. |

OBEY$DIR has become OBEYDIR Dont know anything about weave, it looks like something is interpreting the $ as a token, Have you tried the ‘\’ escape character or there may be some way to use quotes or a string variable to maintain the string. |

I did not express myself very clearly. Weave is a Lua program for creating webpages. My port of Lua to RISC OS allows !,? and $ in variable names, for reasons that only devotees of BBC BASIC are likely to understand. In Raspbian various versions of Lua (and LuaJIT) are provided ready compiled, so no point in hacking the lexer. |
