Passing of Robin Edwards of MUG and Serious Statistical Software

It is with great sadness that MUG, Midland User Group, reports the passing of Robin Edwards.

Robin was one of the founding members of MUG, indeed the inaugural meeting of MUG was at his home in Blackwell on the 4th February 2006.

Robin was also proprietor of Serious Statistical Software and author and maintainer of 1st , F.I.R.S.T (Fully Interactive Regression STatistics), the statistical analysis suite for RISCOS.

He will be missed by us all at MUG.

We are awaiting news of when and where his funeral will be and will publish this when we find out.
