From the US trade policy towards China and, in particular, Google having to stop co-operatimg with Huawei over Android, it was on the cards that China would hit back with a Chinese tech firm producing its own OS for mobile devices as an alternative. Hey presto, up comes HarmonyOS by Huawei which will be sufficiently flexible to have versions for a multitude of devices. See |
