Things to do with a rice maker

Note – a proper rice maker (sometimes sold as n-in-one cookers to cash in on the success of the Cookeo), not a boiling bowl type. First up, make some rice. It’s pretty simple with Japanese Koshihikari – one measure of rinsed rice to two measures of cold water, set to standard cycle, let it do its thing (takes about an hour). Come back, grab a bowl, it’s done. :-) Feeds two, or one person with a large appetite. |

Whereas porridge is supposed to be 2½ to 1. But I like it thick and use 2! Probably as I’m dairy (raw) intolerant. |

Me too. Just can’t look forward to runny porridge. |

Another dead simple recipe. Peel and chop into small cubes as many potatoes as you thick you could eat. Job done. :-) And… damn… it’s getting dark early. :-( |

Was it yesterday 291,6°C? 564,7 K is a little too hot to solder circuit boards. |

I specified the temperature in C, not K. That way the calculation works. ;-) |

For those who can read French, a recipe for a big carrot cake, that was very appreciated by the many people (did I say it was big?) at work that were able to try it. |

Oh well, it’s pitch black. Might as well get into bed and rummage around Prime Video… |
