Rick, you really need to be looking closer to home for economic woes, just make sure you plant lots of potatoes, although snails and chips is going to get very boring. |

I never said France didn’t have its own problems, however, strength in numbers… ;-) As for the spuds… Cut ‘em in half, shove ’em in the microwave for 8-10 minutes, then dump some cheese on top. Or if the end of the world comes and there’s no power, just stoke up a fire and wrap ’em up in alu foil and leave them for slightly longer atop the embers. God knows, I have wood here. My left shoulder is quite painful from all the sawing. |

Hahahahahahaha. Yesterday, Anna caught a wall lizard. Every time it tried to run away, she’d smack it on the head with her paw. So it slunk away really slowly, and she just sat and watched until it was gone. The only way Anna would be interested in mice is if they came in a little pouch that says Felix on the side. Wawa isn’t even interested in the lizards. She’s quite content to lie on her back with her tummy to the sun (looking disturbingly like roadkill). Nou was The Mighty Hunter. He had no qualms about bringing back pieces of birds, rabbits, other cats… and left plenty of wreckage on the doorstep. These two? I think it’s pretty bad when two cats can’t manage to eat one lizard on a sunny warm day with lizards all over the place. They just aren’t putting any effort into being cat. |

That’s what 600 generations of domestication does for you. |

All their effort is in being cat, you aren’t putting enough staff development effort in on alternate food sources. Have you tried killing and cooking one of those lizards for their next food tasting event? – that’s quite different to a meal BTW. |
