Christmas card

Just looked in the letterbox. I have a Christmas card! Okay, it was posted in the UK (Fleet?) on the 21st of December, which is cutting it close but… …hello? It’s February. Probably stuck in customs somewhere. This kind of thing wouldn’t have happened before Brexit. 1 1 I predict that, as of now, absolutely everything it’s going to be “because Brexit”. Things that go right, things that go wrong, and things that clearly have no connection whatsoever. It’ll all be because of Brexit. |

Well this thread would not be happening without Brexit |

Let’s hope it does not go on as long. |

You know it’s only just beginning, right? It’s crazy to think that it’ll be possible to satisfactorily undo 47 years of integration in 11 months; especially when you have the populists pandering to the masses with statements like there will be no alignment, which implies a “special” set of conditions that the rest of the EU might simply not accept. Nobody “got Brexit done”, they just properly started things. |

I don’t think the word “properly” is followed by the correct words. “Properly [insert here] things up” is the proper phrase. Pretty soon even the brexit crowd will be filling the blank with something that is unsuitable for mixed company. |

…accusations of how it’s because the remainers tried to mess it all up, blah blah. |
