This is one of the best explanations that I’ve seen. Although remember that Matt & Boris seem to have felt that reinventing their own wheel might be better, so it might not fully cover the brokenness of the NHS app.
A few (tens of) metres, depending on hardware and local conditions. When I was playing with it in a work context, I could routinely pick up devices in the office on the floor above mine (with a suspended ceiling and fibreboard floor in between). In low power mode, your phone would still see devices within the area of interest for this purpose. |
