Hmm it seems strange to me – there are no attacks on Mr President – from the press about pointing fingers at China about the origin of Covid – like there was to Trump. And arranging a world meeting down here in Cornwall in the summer – we are already squeezed in like sardines :-( |

In politics it’s sometimes not what is said, but who said it. While at other times it’s not who said it (Cummings), but what you want to hear. |

Isn’t strange how the same people who didn’t believe a word Cummings said last year are now taking everything he says now at face value…? |

Last year he was acting in the interests of the government, so was clearly lying. What I’d be interested in knowing is what his angle is. Is this like a public lover’s spat where he feels Johnson took him down so he’s going to do his best to take Johnson down? Hmm, good luck with that. Johnson has nonchalantly ambled away from disasters that would have ended governments in those halcyon days when people cared about truth and integrity. |

Politics has always been the art of tactful lying, but they’d get called on it if things got out of hand. Now they’re practically being egged on and few seem to care about anything even resembling truth. Don’t like what others are saying? Tell “project fear” or “fake news” and carry on. Behind what Brexit actually was by saying, with a completely straight face, “Brexit is Brexit”, which was to toss out another mantra to the gullible. |

Had to laugh at them getting their comeuppance at the hands of oor Glaswegians. I just hope it’ll stick. |
