No image on my work PC either, but that’s because Rick’s site is apparently blocked by the firewall! |

Lots of supplier default settings block blogs. There’s also the “minor” issue that a lot of techie information exchange is on sites catching the “blog” tag. |

Initially I never understood this thread as I wasn’t aware that Rick’s first post had an image in it. I kept going back to the first post to see if there was a clue in the text that explained what the thread was actually about! It was only yesterday that I saw the image for the first time and the whole thread started to make sense. Druck’s image has always showed since it was posted. All using Firefox on Win10. |

It’s not my blog. It’s my home server using dynamic DNS that points to an IP range used by Orange France for its subscribers. Here, try those: http://heyrick.ddns.net/ I ought to get around to writing some php to allow me to drop images on my real site. Here’s a question – if scaling down (‘cos NetSurf wouldn’t like a 12 megapixel photo!), what size is best? 640 pixels width? |

If a corporate/manglement decides to implement blocking at site level like that, they should be willing to take responsibility of things blocked in error, not try passing the buck to some barely paid guy on the other side of the planet who may not even speak English… |

It’s not my blog. It’s my home server using dynamic DNS that points to an IP range used by Orange France for its subscribers. You realise that means I have to shift to the work laptop and remote on to test and see what message the proxy throws up?
Hey, you’re speaking to the guy that might have slipped and added *.youtube.com instead of one of the numerous requested very specific resources. 1 He’s been on my list ever since I found out. |

Following the skip to a different machine and check via proxy on a VPN to work I noted Druck’s screenshot appeared. So, at a guess people lost visibility of the graphical content when the host server for their graphics got listed for blocking by ghostery and other filtering add-ons that use the same source block lists. |

I expect to be back at work tomorrow (although we’ve just had a Covid case reported in NZ today so we might be asked to stay home) so I’ll give it a go if I’m there.
Maybe a couple of different resolutions?

First two URLs fail, bottom two work. The reason given for the first ones is ‘dynamic-dns’ (I didn’t notice that last time). Sigh. |
