ARM at 30

Where did those years go..

spun out 30 years ago

yup 27 November of 30 years ago ARM Ltd was born, but the ARM chip is obviously older than that ;)

for the dates, the “official” are:

• 1985 first ARM chip (35 years ago)
• 1987 first Archimedes series released
• 1990 ARM Ltd was born

They left the ARM3 off their timeline.

Yes, but they had the ARM 1 and 2 on the Acorn side, and went straight to the ARM 6 on the ARM side.

The ARM 4 or 5 never were, but there was an ARM 3 in my Acorn A5000.
