Seeing a lot of that here as well. The number of reports regarding drivers caught speeding or driving long distances for takeaways, etc. Once stopped it turns out they are uninsured/banned/over the limit/carrying drugs/etc. You would think that they would try a bit harder NOT to bring attention to themselves in these situations!

I think if I was stopped whilst (for example) carrying drugs etc. I would probably say I was out for a takeaway rather than for something that was much more serious.

Just doing something obvious that means you will be stopped when you are already doing something else that’s iffy is especially dumb though.
