Contributors Hall of Fame?

I’m sure in the past I’ve seen on riscosopen.org a list of Contributors to RISC OS “A Programmers Hall of Fame!” but I can’t seem to currently find it. Can anyone point me to it please? |

As far as I can see this is an invisible, untitled DATA, module included in the Pi and IOMD ROMs but with no way to access it. |

HeroNames are machine specific resources and are only built on the Pi and IOMD. The above does work as tried on the RPi4, but when tried on the Titanium there is no data. Entertainingly this bit is also still true, but with a humorous message more appropriate to the time.

RISC OS 5 icon! The resources one is donkeys years old, RISC OS 3 I think. |

On my ARMX6 that sequence just shows a single letter ‘w’ before reverting to the copyright message. |

The Titanium does similarly but shows a single ‘z’. A bug, I would say, if there is no HeroNames present in the ROM then nothing should happen It is a simple thing to add a Titanium entry to HeroNames and then to add HeroNames to the Titanium ROM build. (Simple to do here, perhaps not so simple on git.) HeroNames can now be displayed on this Titanium. Intriguingly Tematics Credits are baked into the Switcher source. Superseded now by the Resources files, where implemented. |

On the modern platforms, it could say “No more heroes any more (music emjoi)”. Yeah yeah I know… [Edit: that’d work well on RISC OS] |

None of the above is what I’m thinking of. I remember a few years ago Steve Revill posted that the Contributors list had been updated. |
