Upgrading RISC OS

Hi all, I need to upgrade my ARMx6. In all the yeas I have been using RISC OS I never had to upgrade one of my machines. Is it as simple as dropping a recent Boot version over the old one, after setting a safety copy of the old one aside?

At the back of your ARMX6 user manual there is a username and password to access the ARMX6 support site. On it you will find the most recent OS upgrade (from early this month). Once you have downloaded it and unzipped it, there is a simple way of installing the upgrade – it’s all done for you.

I should add – it is possible to install a nightly build for the iMX6 from this site, but if you do so you will not have some of R-Comp’s extras included in their own release.
