Rick, Thanks for the tutorial, I will study it and test it.
I think it’s best to look at the next quarter century, though… In 1997, Acorn User was my documentation, neither from internet nor DDE. |

I used an online image resizer (https://onlinepngtools.com/resize-png) top convert the big image into something a little more forum friendly. I have an Android JPEG resizer app that is almost as bad, for much the same reasons. I find it quite astonishing that ChangeFSI is able to create far better quality. It’s almost as if these modern things simply resize by working out how many pixels to step before throwing one away… |

And why is it a “vector”? The Java guys had the same idea, but changed their opinion later when designing their collection API, where the interface is called “List” and implementations are called “ArrayList” or “LinkedList” which is obviously a lot better. Apart from the LISP guys who apparently expect something very special when someone promises a “list”. Does the ARM free barrel shift per instruction help? I found an old, 26 bit? CLisp Port of Atari 8 bit Eastern Front 1941? Early AI multitask Display List scrolling map. Pi400 (eng), 4/3B+ – Ham, Tech Net, Linux / Mac / PC, Programmer (for IF author). |
