Armbook webcam

As well as RISC OS I also use Manjaro on my ARMbook. Does anybody know how to use the webcam on this machine? Attempts to Google webcam pinebook fail because only the pinebrook pro gets any references. The original pine64 documentation talks of an application called Cheese but that does not appear in the Manjaro repositories.

Some friends of ours now have a Ukrainian refugee living with them, as do their neighbours. The neighbours’ one seems to them much nicer, but I don’t suppose it would be polite for them to suggest a swap.

After all, 2016 was clearly the worst year because Brexit.

Then 2019 because people actually voted Johnson, who then tried to shut down parliament.

Then 2020 because of the plague, then the end of European togetherness.

Then 2021 because the end of the transition and, well, what a mess.

Then 2022 because just as we’re seeing an end in sight of Covid and looking at the economic damage, Russia steps up and says “hold my beer, we can make a bad situation worse”.

2024 is the year of the Flour Riots and endless TikTok videos about how to (attempt) to make cakes with rice and soy flour.

2025 is the Economic Crash, triggered by a massive flaw discovered in a popular cryptocurrency that essentially makes it worthless. This would be a side note, like watching Bored Apes complaining about their virtual money vanishing, except by this point it turns out that rather a few governments and major companies had bet on cashing in with imaginary coins and, well, the result is the biggest market drop in seventeen years.

Then in 2026 just after England finally wins the FIFA World Cup in Atlanta, a defeated Putin decides that he has nothing left to lose and…

Yup.
