Guessing that ROS 5.30 might be in the wings, I recall the argument about the naming of ROS 6. Perhaps for future updates we could adopt an approach similar to Apple’s California locations. As it’s still a single core system, my suggestion is Clapham Common (Omnibus Ed.). |

Not an imminent issue I would say, 100 – 30 = 70, 70/2 = 35 (odd = nightly beta, even = stable) -1 to be under 6.00 So, 34 version increments before it hits 6.00 |

Shouldn’t the first named version be called Cherry Hinton? |

Those names are frustrating when someone asks for help and tells you that they’re running Snow Alcatraz, then you need to go to Wikipedia to see how old that is because you can never remember what order they came along in. |

ROCH, creeping a little close to Roche perhaps? |

Agreed. I tend to use the numeric versions myself but that wouldn’t have aided my attempt at humour. |

Dirty Gerty – 5.30 … and incrementally Dirty Gerty’s Loo – 5.32 The rest can be determined as progress is made. No? Not keen? |

So, the infamous walled garden is more of a prison, then? |
