I was listening to some Erasure just the other night and thinking to myself how some of the lyrics are scarily prophetic. I look at what’s going on in the world, the economy and such, and I think of “The Two Ring Circus”. And “When I Needed You (Melancholic Mix)” – best damn Erasure song EVER (though “Piano Song” is pretty heavy duty for the duo that did “Oh L’Amour!”). [And my English teacher told me it was bad form to begin a sentence with “and”. And I can’t recall ever paying much attention to her…] |
