Years ago I had an account on https://community.plus.net and I used my email address as my username. Then they have changed the rules so that my email address is no longer a valid username. If I try to login I just get an error. If I try to register as a new user I cannot use my email address because somebody is already registered with that email address (me!). So I registered with a gmail address. That worked. But I cannot find out how to post on the forum, let alone ask how to get my previous registration cancelled. So I am just giving up. I had the vague idea that somebody might have advice about how to speed up PlusNet’s snail-like webmail and which browsers worked best with it. Officially PlusNet don’t offer emaill services these days. You are supposed to use a mobile phone, which I do not have. |

You probably want https://community.plus.net/t5/Community-Site-Feedback/bd-p/Community As for their webmail, it’s always been hopeless and they only change they will be making is to drop it entirely. I suspect unless your domain is also bought through PlusNet, you wont get very far trying to use their email servers to send or receive these days as it wont have the correct signing. I use i20 now for my domains, and they also provide a very good POP/IMAP/SMTP email service which works with Hermes. I don’t know if their webmail works with RISC OS browsers as there’s not been a reason to try yet. |
