Sunrise, sunrise, feels like mornin' in your eyes...

As is tradition, I enjoy watching the sun come up on longest day.
A chilly breeze, but otherwise pleasant enough. A few wispy clouds and contrails, and a lot of INPUT from the resident bird population.

For those who like hugging ancient rocks! the actual moment of the Soltice is 12:51CEST, 10:51UTC. The sun technically rose at 06:07CEST, but given the land configuration and horizon, I didn’t see it until about quarter past. The time from first visible sunlight to full disc was about five minutes. Solar noon is at 14:08CEST. Sunset will be at 22:10CEST, which will be just after ten for me, giving around 16 hours of sunlight (official: 16:03.52). It is a mere 152,023,000KM away (and getting farther).

The Moon, which is also visible right now, is MorningtonWaning Crescent at 34.7%. That means it is diminishing. It is about 380,100KM away. It will set at about quarter past four this afternoon (CEST).
