To be able to list software according to “most recently updated”. |

Why are threads like this going in Aldershot? I thought this forum section was for things that are nothing to do with RISC OS or its applications, so I had been ignoring it completely. But there are a few interesting RISC OS related threads in here. I hope no-one is carrying out interesting conversations in Test… |

Shouldn’t PlingStore suggestions be sent to Andrew (or Alan)? |

I rather assumed Rick was encouraging public debate of features present or missing. My opinion:- The recent update sorting is a major omission, unless people are expected to wade through all available items checking dates |

I chose to put it here as the forum description reads “Everything with nothing particularly or remotely to do with ROOL” and it seems to me that discussion of somebody else’s app repository is . . . nothing to do with ROOL.
Certainly. It was brought about by realising that my NetSurf was out of date by a forum post talking about a problem in v3.3, and my wondering how much simpler it would be if PlingStore could either remember your downloaded versions and notify you of updates (harder option) or at least sort the software list by “most recently updated” (easier option, maybe waypoint to harder option). |

I thought that it already did some of that if you downloaded stuff while logged in to your PlingStore account? |
