I found them interesting for an inside insight into how and why Acorn & ARM chips were developed. Shame about the sometimes inane questions, and the handheld camera was a bit distracting. But Spohie was good to listen to, as usual.

I think that Sophie is well rehearsed in that history, but it was interesting to hear it in that context. The interviewer was quite unprepared and I got the impression that S was rather amused by the situation.

I was interested in the bit about Nokia. It sounded like they could have very easily have not started using ARMs. In which case “ARM’s overnight success which took 20 years” might have taken a lot longer or never happened!
That doesn’t bear thinking about.
