RISC OS computer too fast!

These latest RISC OS computers can be just too fast!
Today I was testing one (that we’ll be demonstrating on Saturday) and I thought it wasn’t doing what I asked.
I’d asked it to search my $.!Boot for a file and nothing seemed to happen, so a retried again nothing, I then realised that despite having to search through 1500+files in dozens of directories some five deep, it was doing it so quickly that a window was never being displayed (the file wasn’t being found). I could slow it down enough to see something happen by searching with the task manager open it then momentarily caused a new task to appear in the manager and a search window to flash onto the screen. Blink and I’d have missed it.

Perhaps a sign that we should make the Filer_Action find window stay on screen and require manual dismissal if no items are found?

Only a configurable option, please!

How about the window must remain open for a minimum time, e.g. 2 seconds? (If the search takes 3 seconds, the window is open for 3 seconds, not 5.)
