AVG poking it's nose in.

Been trying – out vector routines with RSq – RO5.23.
There tends to be err – a bit of crashing :-((

AVG poked it’s nose in – and came up with window – wanting to delete the exe file.

Is there a option in that Window that stops the delete?

Looked in Vault – no sign of RSq exe – Bother!!

I wonder if – with RPCEmu – the crashing in full window mode – might be down to AVG.

When I had AVG installed and running VRPC, I had to run it in Game mode to stop intrusive messages dropping VRPC to a blank window.

I recall switching to Avast! a fair few years ago because AVG was prone to false positives and had a penchant for deleting stuff.

As for options – there should be a way for you to add an “exclusion” to instruct AVG not to consider $EMULATOR to be a potential virus.
Did you mean RedSquirrel or RPCEmu?

I think that AVG thinks a full screen is a game – as standard now.
I see that there is list – to add an exclusion – might take some working out.
The error window that AVG gave – seemed to have no cancel button – delete or nothing.
Alt-Ctr-Del? :-(
Any ideas about how to cancel it. – the web didn’t throw up an answer.

Got a copy of the RedSq exe file in the Dir now.
