Scanning negatives

Has anybody heard of software that will scan a negative of a photograph, outputting the positive as a jpeg file?

DPlngScan and TWAIN will do that, won’t it? Assuming you have a suitable scanner.

outputting the positive as a jpeg file

This part with changefsi (processing / invert input + JPEG output) but it doesn’t scan of course
