Unmentionable topics

Have you read Stand on Zanzibar by John Brunner? I mention it because, though published in 1968, it predicts the current spate of t*rr*r*sm as a natural evolutionary consequence of humankind’s expansion. In the paper today I read of the possibility of autonomous swarms of homicidal drones, and tomorrow no doubt, as the digital merges into the biological, it will be targeted bacteriological warfare. In WW II there was a crucial struggle over the development of magnetic mine detection. I believe today there are already companies contending over the security/destruction of drones. Whereas AI used to be a joke, a bogey word to make the US fear it was being overtaken by Japan, it now has some deadly connotations. That is where the big boys will be recruiting. Where Monty Python had lethal jokes, Aldershot has unmentionable topics. Sorry!

In ‘Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog’ episode ‘Super Robotnik’, the only part of Robotnik’s body which is not invulnerable is his unmentionable.
